1.)

Should there be a malfunction covered under this warranty, the buyer must notify Sign Builders, Inc. prior to taking any action. To proceed with any work or repairs on signs under warranty without notifying Sign Builders, Inc. and obtaining written authorization, automatically voids any guarantees.

2.)

All signs are inspected and tested for proper operation prior to shipment from SBI. In addition, all signs are shipped in packaging that meets or exceeds industry standards for common carrier shipment. Therefore, it is the responsibility of the party receiving the shipment to inspect the sign(s) for any damage or failure to illuminate properly prior to accepting shipment. In the event that damage is determined, it is the responsibility of the party receiving the shipment to file a claim with the carrier. SBI will not be held responsible for any damages incurred between shipment from our plant and final destination.

3.)

All signs MANUFACTURED BY SBI are guaranteed for a period of (1) year from date of shipment or of invoice, whichever occurs first, to be free of defects in materials and workmanship. Defective components will be repaired or replaced during this period without charge, however removal and reinstallation labor, along with travel expenses for replacing defective components, will not be reimbursed.

4.)

Any defective component qualifying for manufacturer's warranty must be returned to SBI before credit is given. Freight-collect shipments will not be accepted.

5.)

This warranty does not apply to fluoescent lamps, neon tubing, incandescent bulbs, or damages resulting from acts of God, accidental negligence, or misuse.

6.)

Any component manufacturer's warranty still in effect upon expiration of the SBI warranty period is passed on to the buyer.
